About Us
In 1993 Paul joined BSM and soon became their head instructor and I trained to be an instructor trainer as well as qualifying as specialist disability instructor with the Queen Elizabeth Foundation in Banstead. After 9 ½ years, he decided to setup my own driving school and in 2002 Auto Drive School of Motoring was established.
We originally started with a single Automatic car but due increasing demand due to recommendations, we need to expand and we got another Automatic car along with our first Female driving instructor. The popularity of our driving school grew and by Easter of 2003 we had our first Manual car on the road. Over the next 7 years, we have increased the size of our fleet to match the demand of our pupils.
Auto Drive has strived to be a leading driving school, using the latest technology and highly qualified instructors to help improve the way we deliver our driving lessons. We have fitted video recording facilities into our vehicles to allow the pupil to review their driving lessons from a third person perspective. During the 18 years, we have seen many changes in the driving test with the introduction of the theory test, the inclusion of the “Show Me Tell Me” section of the practical and the most recent change being the “Independent Driving”. At every stage we have developed the best methods to give the pupil the skills for a lifetime of safe driving.
